Stop Burning Rain Forests for Palm Oil

Summary:
In Indonesia palm oil is very important to the farmers whom are poor in this developing country. Palm oil is used for many things like biofuels, cosmetics, and food. Palm oil is also the cooking choice of oil in many parts of this world. Palm oil creates $40 billion a year for Indonesia and Malaysia. But, this is not such a good thing because converting these forests into oil palm plantations destroys the homes of many species like orangutans even critically endangered species like the Sumatran tigers and Sumatran rhinos. It is also bad for the environment because the burning that occurs releases greenhouse carbon dioxide.
Reflection:
I love animals and this is very surprising to me because they seem like they do not care about their endangered species and it's more about their own personal wealth and greed. Many creatures are losing their homes because of these plantations and a few of them are very critically endangered such as the Sumatran tiger and Sumatran rhino. Primates are also endangered as well. I think Indonesia should rethink and start persevering their forests for the sake of the animals.
